Marci, founder of Out of the Box Child Consulting, is a Dallas "warrior mom" who has been in the trenches for 14 years, advocating for her own "out-of-the-box" children. Marci understands the unique educational needs of “out-of-the-box," learning different, and medically complex children and has a good pulse on the ways in which the various learning different schools serving these student populations differ. Marci has a knack for matching each unique child with the school that will best fit their needs. Marci has a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition and worked as a Regiestered Dietitian for 25 years; she published a book on nutrition for brain tumor survivors with hypothalamic obesity.
